Enrolled Nurses who would like regional Queensland public health service work can register interest in a talent pool covering permanent, temporary and casual roles. Sites are rural and remote, from hospitals and multipurpose health services to aged care facilities and community clinics around Rockhampton. People with emergency, intensive care, theatre or other clinical experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
No offers are made up front, but suitable people are contacted when something fits, and following steps could be interviews, reference checks and pre-employment assessments. Visa sponsorship may be considered pending skillset and years of experience. Applications close on 17 January 2027.

Key Responsibilities
- Nurse patients and residents in remote and rural hospitals, community clinics, aged care facilities and multipurpose health services
- Work across clinical areas that could include emergency, intensive care and theatre
- Accept permanent positions when they open up
- Accept temporary or casual placements as they arise
Requirements & Eligibility
- Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration and an Annual Practising Certificate
- Vaccination for the vaccine preventable diseases listed in the role description
- Current CV including referees
- Cover letter responding to the role description
