Provide personal care in a small, homely Christchurch dementia care setting. This permanent full-time caregiver role covers at least 30 hours weekly on a 24/7 roster. The work combines respectful daily assistance, observation and support for registered nurses within your scope.
Hourly pay ranges from $23.95 at Level 1 to $28.25 at Level 4 and above. The Immigration New Zealand Accredited Employer can sponsor eligible applicants; visa support requires a Registered Nursing degree or a Level 4 or higher caregiving qualification with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA).

Key Responsibilities
- Provide culturally safe, holistic personal care, helping with showering, dressing, eating, mobility and communication.
- Help plan care and follow therapy plans for residents living with dementia.
- Observe progress and promptly report changes or concerns, keeping resident records accurate and current.
- Assist registered nurses within your scope of practice.
Requirements & Eligibility
- A genuine commitment to improving elderly people's lives with empathy and kindness, and a passion for aged care.
- Able to work any shift on a 24/7 roster.
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred; dementia care experience is a strong advantage.
- For visa support, a Registered Nursing degree or a Level 4+ caregiving qualification with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA).
