Take responsibility for an automotive glass branch in Alice Springs, managing its trade while remaining involved in practical workshop work. The business has served fleet, insurance, retail and trade customers for over 30 years. Your team of three comprises two qualified fitters and one experienced leading hand.
Workshop, retail, trade operations and service management backgrounds are welcome. The Northern Territory Designated Area Migration Agreement (NT DAMA) eligibility and nomination conditions for eligible applicants are set out below; qualified onshore visa holders needing employer support are welcome.

Key Responsibilities
- Run branch activity each day, measuring financial results against budget and organising efficient workflows.
- Plan staffing rosters, develop colleagues through coaching, review their performance and build a positive workshop environment.
- Control inventory, keep products available and develop working relationships with local suppliers.
- Expand business with retail, fleet, insurance and trade customers, providing high-quality assistance in person and on the telephone.
- Keep administrative records accurate, the store secure and WHS standards strict; help fit or repair automotive glass at busy times, with on-the-job training provided.
Requirements & Eligibility
- An established record as a Branch Manager, Workshop Manager, Service Manager, Operations Manager or Retail Manager.
- Strong skills with computers, business awareness, communication and managing a team; a current valid driver's licence is mandatory.
- For sponsored candidates, nomination must be under Retail Manager (General), ANZSCO 142111.
- For sponsored candidates, relevant formal qualifications, suitable management experience, English proficiency and NT DAMA eligibility apply.
