Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional haircuts, fades and contemporary barbering, using solid technical skill for accurate, consistent results
- Trim, shape and groom beards
- Discuss what clients want and recommend suitable styles
- Make every client feel welcome, treat them professionally and build lasting relationships
- Keep precision, presentation and workmanship at a high standard
- Keep stations and equipment clean and hygienic in line with health, safety and hygiene procedures
- Manage appointments and complete services efficiently
- Stay on top of current barbering styles, techniques and trends
- Get on well with the team and help create a positive shop atmosphere
- Turn up reliably and bring a strong work ethic
Requirements & Eligibility
- Professional experience as a Barber that you can prove
- Skilled in cutting and fading
- Has groomed and styled beards before
- Delivers barbering results of a consistently high quality
- Good at customer service and communication
- Professional in attitude and appearance
- Meticulous, dependable and motivated, with a commitment to quality
- At home working alone or with a team
- A relevant barbering qualification or demonstrable industry experience, with the ability to verify qualifications, experience and trade capability
- Either Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate work visa
