Key Responsibilities
- Consult customers about their preferred haircut, styling and grooming, then cut and style using scissors, clippers and razors.
- Produce fades, tapered cuts and traditional or contemporary barbering styles.
- Shape and trim moustaches and beards and provide shaving services.
- Advise on grooming, hair care and suitable products.
- Disinfect and clean equipment, tools and workstations, maintaining workplace hygiene and safety.
- Process payments and serve customers in a friendly, professional manner.
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Certificate III in Barbering or Hairdressing, an equivalent qualification, or substantial relevant experience.
- A demonstrated background working as a barber with strong scissor cutting, clipper cutting, fades and beard grooming skills.
- Clear communication and customer service skills, able to work independently and contribute to a team.
- Reliable working habits and professional presentation.
- Available for a roster including weekends.
