Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent professional barbering, including men's haircuts, skin and taper fades, beard trimming, styling and grooming.
- Consult each client about the desired result, recommend suitable styles and provide a welcoming experience that encourages repeat visits.
- Clean and prepare equipment, tools and work areas, following hygiene, health and safety and presentation standards.
- Support colleagues and participate in coaching and training, incorporating new techniques and trends into service.
- Work towards agreed service and performance targets, contribute client experience improvements and step into leadership and additional responsibility when opportunities arise.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of professional barbering experience and demonstrable commercial shop experience.
- Strong technical men's haircutting, fades, styling and beard grooming, with genuine, verifiable barbering history.
- Good understanding of professional barbering standards and client care and good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional presentation and attention to detail, positive teamwork and reliable, responsible work habits.
- Willing to continue training and building skills and able to adapt to client preferences and current trends.
- Real ambition for barbering progression, supported by employment history and ability to meet applicable Australian employment requirements.
