A growing vehicle repair business in Albury is taking on extra Automotive Panel Beaters and Assemblers. The workshop is clean, roomy and state-of-the-art, with a spot welder, glue pulling system, dustless extraction work stations and mini scissor lifts. Standard business hours apply, 8am - 4:30pm, and new people are hired for the long run.
Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate (subclass 482).
Collision repair is hands-on, so your CV should prove it: trade qualifications or certifications, the repairs you have carried out and the workshop gear you know. Shape your trade CV so it reads cleanly in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Panel Beater: bring damaged vehicle panels back to pre-accident condition, with precision and care.
- Assembler: refit vehicles once repairs are done, confirming each component is fitted properly and works.
- Team up with colleagues to hold repair timelines and meet what customers expect.
- Stick to industry regulations, safety protocols and quality standards, and keep tools and equipment in good working order.
- Talk openly with team members and supervisors to solve problems and deliver exceptional results.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience in your own trade in the automotive repair industry.
- Careful attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship, plus the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
- Familiarity with industry standard tools, equipment and techniques.
- A solid work ethic and a team mindset.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are a must.
