Prepare imported cars for compliance checks and undertake servicing and repairs at an Auckland vehicle compliance centre. The permanent full-time role runs Monday to Friday. It combines practical mechanical work with recording repair time, invoices and WOF inspections in the computer system.
The employer is accredited and can sponsor under that accreditation, but this particular opening requires New Zealand citizenship or residency. It is open to applicants already in New Zealand with the required status and work rights.

Key Responsibilities
- Carefully strip imported cars ready for compliance inspection.
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing and mechanical repairs on different vehicles.
- Collect vehicles and parts from suppliers.
- Enter repair time on timesheets and load invoices and WOF inspections into the system, helping colleagues with their tasks.
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least three years of demonstrated automotive car mechanic experience.
- New Zealand citizenship or residency and a New Zealand driver licence.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Organised and proactive, able to multitask and meet timelines, with good communication skills; computer knowledge is an advantage.
