Rockhampton's mining and heavy equipment sector has a permanent opening for a qualified Auto Electrician. You would trace, service and fix intricate electrical systems, and selection rests on verified qualifications, hands-on ability and industry background.

Key Responsibilities
- Trace and repair electrical faults on heavy mobile equipment, from complex electrical to electronic systems
- Run preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Service and repair vehicle air conditioning
- Review how machines are performing, recommend technical improvements and use sharp troubleshooting to cut downtime
- Observe Australian workplace safety standards throughout all maintenance work
- Keep repair and service records accurate, and give dependable professional field service that lifts team service quality and efficiency
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Auto Electrician holding recognised trade certification
- Practical time on heavy vehicles, mining equipment or mobile plant
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic background
- Air conditioning system experience is preferred
- Able to interpret electrical diagrams and technical information
- Current driver's licence
- Able to meet required site medical and workplace requirements
- Good English for safety and reporting at work, independent but a good team contributor, committed to safe practices and high-quality workmanship
- Applicants must have verifiable trade experience and employment history
