An English CV should describe the accessories and vehicles you fit and the work history behind those skills. prepare a 4WD accessories installation CV with examples of component removal, system checks and resolving fitment issues. Include your driving and forklift licences and relevant automotive training or trade experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install premium 4WD and aftermarket products including trays, canopies, drawer systems, windows and toolboxes.
- Remove and refit components and prepare new and used vehicles for accurate installation.
- Fit keyless entry and other accessory systems and undertake automotive electrical work within your experience.
- Check fit, operation and finish and correct basic fitting issues.
- Use tools and equipment to safety procedures, maintain a clean, tidy and safe bay and coordinate with technicians to complete installations to standard.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven 4WD Fitter, Vehicle Accessory Fitter or Automotive Installer experience and demonstrable practical 4x4 and aftermarket installation with genuine employment evidence.
- Strong component and accessory installation knowledge, great attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Automotive electrical or OBD knowledge is an advantage.
- Valid Australian driver's licence required; Forklift licence required, with training support potentially available.
- Able to work safely and independently in a professional workshop; relevant automotive qualifications or trade experience preferred.
